It is with great sadness that we must write of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Carmel, who has inspired us so much, both professionally and personally. It is impossible to grasp that such a strong, vibrant and generous spirit is no longer with us, but through the sadness we are grateful for the memories and values that we inherit.
Carmel embraced the good and the tough times in her life with great positivity; always seeing and sharing the humour in every situation and always curious; interested and insightful. We will miss her so much as a friend and mentor.

Asif MullanManaging Director
Asif joined mallon errington in 2005 after a career in the retail and technology sectors and has been instrumental in the development of our international division which covers EMEA, APAC and North America. As well as operating in the UK market, he is responsible for our global reward strategy and handles a variety of senior level assignments including Heads of Reward for Fortune 500 companies. Asif has a truly collaborative approach, partnering closely with his clients to help them identify future HR leaders. With an enviable global network and a diverse range of clients, he has ensured that mallon errignton is the “go–to” consultancy for senior level reward professionals.
Claudia AbellManaging Director
Claudia joined mallon errington in 2000 as a reward recruitment specialist in our early days. In 2004, she left the firm to travel and work in Australia but returned in 2008 and heads up our UK interim reward practice as well as being responsible for building our global mobility division. She has a strong track record in sourcing high calibre reward professionals across all sectors including globally recognised multinational brands in a variety of sectors such as oil & gas, pharma, high tech, mining, financial services, FMCG, retail, manufacturing, telecoms, professional services, FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies. Her personal and honest approach makes her a trusted advisor in the reward market.
Julie FoleyOperations Director
Julie joined mallon errington in 2002 after three years with a ‘Big Four’ accounting firm where she provided administrative services to the partners in the tax division. She is our operations director providing a seamless and efficient support service to the team. Julie has an in depth and detailed knowledge of all our clients and candidates and coordinates all of our search and recruitment activity.
